Because of the communicational-communional nature of the human person and of the Church, always existing in relation to God, people and the world, the faith and life of the Church are essentially related to culture. This relationship is always very dynamic and there must be constant strive to give it the right shape. This is the purpose of the theological reflection on culture itself and on the mutual relations between faith and culture, which appreciates and promotes contemporary models and strategies of action known as evangelization of culture and the inculturation of the faith.

This paper focuses on three fundamental notions-realities which describe human life and constitute at the same time its foundation and the space of participation in it. The triad culture - education - truth describes the most essential human experiences, simultaneously, defining the direction of their deepening and creative developing. Certainly, in the times like these when everything is questioned notions-experiences that belong to this triad are not problem-free. What is more, they are deemed to be superfluous, especially in ultra-left-wing ideologies in which suicidal tendencies are easily discernible. Taking this into consideration, it is hardly possible to avoid polemic attitude towards numerous questions even those most essential since in their semantic field the greatest confusion may be detected. That is why there are numerous attempts to answer the question how, in the face of such a dynamic spiritual condition of the world, those fundamental issues can be dealt with within the frames of anthropology, and how they can be justified from the anthropological point of view. This reflection is rather philosophical in character, however, it is also inspired by the fundamental Christian truth which says about the incarnation of the Son of God and about the salvation of man made by Him.

Today the Church has to face numerous challenges. One of them - the cultural pluralism - has recently came back with a new strength. It is an unquestionable task of theology to take part in formulating specific propositions which would let the Church tackle the problem on the traditional level as well as with respect to particular experiences which remain in the memory of the Church. The thing which cannot be neglected is the memory of the theological principles which have to be observed while facing this challenge. Therefore some of these principles are discussed here as an attempt to join the public debate, regrettably not always appropriate, which is currently taking place. In the present situation an appropriate programme of action could be looked for on the basis of the tradition of the Church. In the light of the analyses that were carried out, this programme could be summarised in the following way: accept positively authorised cultural diversity; contribute to the sanctification and salvation of those cultures exposing and eliminating those elements which introduce contrast between them and the word of God; point out wider perspectives of human, social and cultural maturity, which are opened by faith and its dynamic manifestations.

FRAGMENTARIZATION OF HOPE IN THE POSTMODERN CULTURE. SUMMARY.
The matter discussed in this article is a resultant product of a few issues: the postmodern culture, man's pursuance and aspirations, which are synthetically defined as a hope, and finally, the matter of fragmentarization of the creation. First, the author explains the most important tendencies stuck in the postmodern culture, emphasizing the matter of deconstruction, and the aim to negate everything that was commonly accepted up until the present. This also means the principles of logics that have heretofore determined the man's reasoning. All these issues result in dispersion of the human's personality, and lead to the question of the vision of hope that is so typical to the postmodern human being. After pointing out the ambiguity of the idea of hope, the author carries on with a brief overlook of some religious ideas related to the postmodern culture such as New Age and discordianism. The author focuses on consequences of these beliefs in terms of the vision of hope that are closely related to the postmodern human being. Next, the author passes on to the matter of fragmentarization. He brings in it's definition, and points out the way that fragmentarization determines the hope in contemporary world. The author doesn't share the opinion the foregoing tendencies must establish the state of nonsense, and rational chaos that is typical to the discussed culture. This statement is made based on three premises: firstly, according to the Christianity the world is ruled by God, and it leads it to the eschatological pursuance, secondly, it depends a lot on the Christian's commitment to the faith, and last, the postmodernism is not dominant although it incorpses more and more followers. In the end of the article there is a reference to the Benedict's XVI Spe salvi encyclic, and an invocation to the Christian activeness in revealing God as the one and only true foundation of hope.

WITH THE GOSPEL ANEW. THE CATHOLIC VIEW OF THE EVANGELIZATION OF CULTURE. Summary
After the Second Vatican Council, the Catholic Church considers itself as a misterium, a communio, and a missio. This is the Trinitarian vision of the Church. The Father sent the Son and the Spirit: out of these two missions a community is born. For two millennia the Church has been proclaiming faith in many dimensions. A new culture has been born of Christianity, but Christianity cannot be reduced to culture, it cannot be a mere guardian of the past. In its very heart lies the non-proselytic mission to spread the Gospel, a mission whose importance is being more and more readily acknowledged with time. A bishops' synod is planned for the year 2012 in Rome. The available lineamenta not only augment the call for a new Evangelization but also draw attention to the contemporary context of people's lives. It is noted that the 20th c. wars and totalitarian systems, responsible for the deaths of millions, have not only lead to the rejection of Christianity but also of what or who was before considered a paragon to follow. Nihilistic attitudes are surfacing and transforming into anarchy; social attitudes prioritize changes in those laws which shelter people from misfortune and misery. The conversion of hearts is necessary in both cases. The Church proposes, in this context, the Word of Jesus Christ, who reinstalls the proper sense of the human life. This means, in turn, the need to evangelize contemporary culture.

ACEDIA, NEW GNOSIS, POPRELIGION ET CONSORTES. JOSEPH RATZINGER/ BENEDICT XVI THEOLOGICAL DIAGNOSIS OF MODERN CRISIS
Summary
The shape of anthropology depends on the shape of theology. Godless anthropology distorts the image of a man; a broken relationship with God makes all spheres of life and human activity become distorted and degraded. While rejecting his Creator and the dependence on Him, a man loses his sense of meaning and taste of life. He neurotically tries to find them in other areas, replacing real values with substitutes and true reality with independently created requisites. Ratzinger shows that the loss of God and misplaced human autonomy generate sorrow, emptiness and, consequently, protest; everything in life becomes ill. According to J. Ratzinger/ Benedict XVI, the most dangerous contemporary diseases of culture and spirituality are: neo-gnostic mentality which is a mixture of anthropological frustration, blind faith in science and snobbery of elites; trendy fascinations with the West versions of Far Eastern religions generally supporting nihilistic inclinations of postmodernity; narcissistically creative culture and relativistic output placed beyond good and evil - in the name of tolerance and pluralism. The only cure can be cognition of real God and recognition of a source of hope and love in Him. Only by drawing from Him, a man is able to co-create the world where the final word does not belong to death.
