The starting point of the reflections is a trial of highlighting the ascension as an event, with a unique, peculiar meaning. Next the issue of influence of ascension on acquiring power by Jesus Christ is analysed. The power consists in the intercession of Jesus at his Father as well as pouring the Holy Spirit on the Church. Jesus Christ as a priest performs sacrifice of intercession, whereas as a king pleads continuously the case of his people in front of the Father. The sacrifice on the cross, the resurrection and ascension reveal the process of acquiring dignity by Jesus Christ. The dignity is portrayed by the picture and metaphor of the Head of the Mystical Body. By his ascension Jesus Christ becomes the Head of the Church and owing to this he is able to bestow the Church with God's life. Highlighting the raising intercession movement as well as the descending movement of grace give grounds for proposing a thesis. Namely, the ascension of Jesus Christ performs and secures the common liturgy of the Church making a pilgrimage with the Church in Heaven. In the first part, the author presents arguments of scholars (Eef Dekker, Richard A. Muller), who proposed the suárezian-molinist interpretation of Arminius. The main reason of their views lays in the similarities between the Dutch reformer and the Jesuit's theologians. These similarities mainly relate to an attempt to reconcile human freedom with God's knowledge. On the way of this exertion, the Leiden professor would have to turn toward the concept of scientia media. In the second part the author shows a non-molinist understanding of the Arminius' thought. This perspective is coming from the Thomistic doctrine of God and theology of creation of Dutch reformer (William G. Witt), proving that molinism contradicts with them. Especially for the sake of Arminius' desire to avoid the divine determinism. Another important fact, noted by F. Stuart Clarke, is the soteriological personalism of the Leiden professor, which is revealed by his comprehension of the relation grace-free will or Holy Spirit-man. This personalism was not derived from the teaching of Suárez and Molina, so it is quite uncertain whether it reflects their opinions about concordance of grace and free will. IRENAEUS Summary St. Irenaeus, Bishop of Lyons, defender of true Christian doctrine, for centuries considered an authority on the truths of faith, was recently proclaimed by Pope Francis the Doctor Unitatis of the universal Church. This study responds to the Pope's exhortation to know the richness of the saint doctor's theology. For this purpose, I propose an Irenaean reading of the letter Placuit Deo of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith on certain aspects of Christian salvation. Significantly God's love is like a key that allows us to understand not only the mystery of the death of the incarnate Son of God, but also the current condition of the redeemed man. It was God's merciful love that changed humanity from enemies into friends and made it possible to love Him. Without God's revelation, people would never understand that their existence is constitutively incorporated into the eternal love of the Father for the Son and objectively directed at it. With true predilection, Bishop of Hippo speaks of Christ as the Mediator of life, because sin deprives man of God's life, which was offered to him by the Father through the mediation of the Son. Hence, the Father sent his Son into the world to save people from sin and let them enjoy life again. ZUSAMMENFASSUNG Die Satisfaktionslehre Anselms wird auf unterschiedliche Weise beurteilt. Das Problem liegt oft darin, dass sie nicht im Zusammenhang des gesamten Denkens Anselms gesehen wird. Es ist wichtig, die eigenen Anselmschen metaphysischen Grundlagen, die in früheren Werken erarbeitet wurden, im Bereich seiner Soteriologie zu berücksichtigen. It is in obedience where personal identification of the being and mission of Jesus, expressing His relation with God the Father and defining His exceptionality, finds its realisation. This perspective allows a profound interpretation of Jesus's work for the benefit of man, which goes beyond all immanent reductions. This view becomes also a starting point for the appropriate understanding and interpretation of the act of salvation and by the same token of the new covenant with God. RESUMEN El siguiente artículo tiene el propósito de sacar las conclusiones a base de un estudio monográfico titulado "Jesucristo - Mediador de la salvación en la teología espanola posconciliar". Es un intento de describir no solamente el contenido de la noción misma de la mediación salvífica de Jesucristo, sino, al mismo tiempo, recalcar los elementos universales contenidos en la visión propia de una teología (en este caso espanola). Primero responde al porqué de elegir este tema (dos razones: epistemológico y teológico) y darle elegida estructura. Luego destaca las características de la cristología espanola posconciliar. Es una cristología de las fuentes, tiene solido fundamento bíblico y patrístico, es una teología abierta, de talante europeo. El concepto de soteriología pasa a ser clave de la mediacion salvífica de Cristo. De la reflexión de los teologos espańoles en el periodo posconciliar sale a la luz, pues, una imagen de Cristo Mediador con varios aspectos. Los más importantes son: identidad ontológica de la persona del Mediador; necesidad de ser el hombre verdadero. Su mediación es intratrinitaria y escatológica, "pro-existencial", universal y unificadora, inmediata. Es la única mediación compuesta por dos elementos: descendente y ascendente. En cuanto a su realización, la teología senala tres funciones en la mediación salvífica de Cristo: real, profética y sacerdotal. En fin, estamos ante un tema muy rico y con muchos aspectos.
