THE QUESTION OF FILIOQUE AND THE CATHOLIC-ORTHODOX DOCTRINAL DIALOGUE
The procession of the Holy Spirit from the Father and the Son (lat. Filioque) and first of all the inclusion of this formula into the Nice-Constantinopolitan Credo by the Pope Benedict XV in the 1014 without consultation with the Christian East, is considered, together with the primacy of the Pope, to be the biggest obstacle on the way to the unity between the Catholic and Orthodox Churches. The purpose of this article is to demonstrate the differences and the likenesses between Catholics and Orthodox in the question of the origin of the Holy Spirit and to indicate the perspectives of resolution of this problem on the basis of two important documents: one is the clarification of the Papal Council for Promoting Christian Unity, The Greek and Latin Traditions regarding the Procession of the Holy Spirit from 1995, and the other is the result of the North American Orthodox-Catholic Theological Consultation, The Filioque: a Church-Dividing Issue? An Agreed statement of the North American Orthodox-Catholic Theological Consultation from 2003.

THE TRINITARIAN DIMENSION OF BEAUTY IN THE LIGHT OF THE SYMBOLIC THEOLOGY OF BRUNON FORTE
Summary
The subject of these considerations will be the problem of beauty in its Trinitarian perspective and in the context of the symbolic theology of Brunon Forte, which provides the appropriate tools to explore this issue. This article presents the beauty of the Father, who is the beginning without the beginning of the other divine persons, who eternally come from Him. The Father eternally begotten the Son and on the foundation on His relationship with Him, He creates the universe. In this way, by giving up being everything, God the Father becomes the beginning of harmony whose light reveals everlasting beauty. In turn, by the act of the Incarnation, the Son of God enables intra-Trinitarian harmony to reveal in the space of creation, which is wounded by sin. In Christ, it becomes possible to complete the unification of sinful humanity with the merciful God. He is therefore the only way to unity, reflecting the unity of the Trinity. Holy Spirit also builds the unity of both the Trinity and ecclesial space. For he is the bond of love between the Father and the Son; Their communion open to others. Thanks to that, he may serve a similar function in the community of the Church as he serves in the Trinity - uniting people. All this allows one to consider beauty as a beautifully mysterious attribute of God, manifested in the light of unity, which dominates in the Trinitarian relations. By the act of the Incarnation, this unity is shared by humanity.

DE DEO UNO ET TRINO IN CATHOLIC GERMAN-LANGUAGE DOGMATIC TEXTBOOKS OF THE TWENTIETH CENTURY − ONE OR TWO TREATISE?
Summary
The relationship between the treatises on God and the Trinity was and still is disputed in dogmatic theology. In the early 1960s, Karl Rahner criticized the separation of these two treatises as well as the inadequate treatement of the Trinity in neo-scholasticism. In Rahner's opinion, this separation is attributable to the Summa Theologiae of St. Thomas Aquinas, which, by the sixteenth century, had replaced the Sentences of Petrus Lombardus as a standard textbook. Michael Schmaus, on the other hand, sees the foundation for this separation already in the Sentences itself. The question here is whether one should maintain the common neo-classical model, embracing both treatises as does Michael Schmaus in his Katholische Dogmatik (1938-1965), or are there other alternatives? The present study treats this topic using Catholic German-language dogmatic textbooks of the twentieth century, including works on the history of theology. This method enables both an appraisal of Rahner's thesis, as well as the tracing back of the textbooks considered to their antecedent models, both as regards content and structure. The twentieth century is chosen as the ambit of investigation because of pontifical documents like Aeterni Patris (1879), Doctor Angelici (1914), and the 1917 Code of Canon Law, all of which reinforced the existing "Thomistic-Renaissance" of the previous century. In addition, the twentieth century offers a great variety of different dogmatic textbooks and the lines of thought that carried through the Second Vatican Council. In the dogmatic textbooks studied, the place of the treatises in relation not only to the entire work but in relation also to the internal structure of the work is described. Each follows an extensive analysis of the contents. In the methodology a certain representative analysis is respected, without pretense as to completeness. This procedure permits a demonstration of tendencies and developments, and brings into view the advantages and disadvantages of the individual models.

What deserves emphasizing in the significant theological thought of John D. Zizioulas is his ecumenical openness and deep theology saturated with communion thought, which also produces the communion perspective of the reality of the Holy Spirit. Pneumatology has its origins in the Trinitarian-ecclesial reflection, which developed the fundamental concept of the Communion of the Holy Trinity. Zizioulas completely agrees with the Orthodox Trinitarian-pneumatological vision, which critically refers to the Trinitarian contribution of the thought of St. Augustine and he presents also a communional view on the contentious issue of Filioque - emphasizing the ecumenical perspectives of this topic and of ongoing dialogues which are still trying to bring the consensus of the Churches of East and West.

Summary
This article presents a comparative analysis of the use of the terms κοινωνία and μετουσία in Trinitarian, Christological and soteriological as well as sacramental contexts in Gregory of Nyssa’s Oratio catechetica magna. As a result, we discover that Gregory consciously and precisely distinguishes between the concepts under discussion and treats the term κοινωνία as a bridge connecting the disputed topics of dogmatic theology. Moreover, the analysis shows that the Bishop of Nyssa’s use of the term κοινωνία betrays his desire to transcend the dialectical understanding of the relationship between unity and difference. Instead of this concept that originated in Platonism, Gregory seeks a synthetic account that preserves the autonomy and independence and, simultaneously, the possibility of true unity between God and man. The conclusion of the analysis is the need for further research into the use of the concept of κοινωνία in the works of the youngest of the Cappadocian Fathers.

THE HOLY TRINITY AND THE MYSTICAL EXPERIENCE
Summary
The mystery of the Holy Trinity constitutes a transcendental and original principle of the history of salvation and the first subject of Christian faith. Christian faith and Christian life are both shaped in relation to this mystery. Therefore we can speak about the primacy of the Holy Trinity in the faith, which finds its expression in the gradual development and in the overall shape of Christian doctrine. It is worth noticing, that the Holy Trinity is also a subject of mystical experience. Starting with the New Testament, especially St. Paul, we can observe in the Church a progressive development of the conviction that the most elevated relation with God, that is mystical relation, has to be Trinitarian in character. It has been shown by the criteria of the Christian mysticism elaborated in theology. A special manifestation of the mystical experience is “ecstasy". It is rooted in the symbol of faith which synthetically reveals the subject of faith, that is the Holy Trinity together with the specific character of Its redemptive action. God's lowering towards man constitutes the foundation of the based on faith, man's rising towards God. In the proper meaning this issue finds its justification in the experience and theology of Paul the Apostle.

SUBSTANCE AS THE TERM USED IN TRINITOLOGY S u m m a r y This article deals with the understanding of the term substance in trinitology. The issues connected with the substance of God and each of the Persons will be dealt with in other articles. In every religion the substance of God possesses personality. In Christianity it is threesome personality. For this very reason the term "substance" obtains a new meaning. In the history of Christian theology, the notion concerning the connection of one substance of God with three different Persons was developed. The orthodox mainstream, while emphasizing their autonomy also stressed the distinctness of creatures from their Creator. The thought trend which nullified the differences between the Persons was also inclined to blur the difference between the substance of God and the substance of the world. In theological thought as a whole, it is important to understand the general term "substance" in the context of the wholeness of problems. This term, just like any other, has its own meaning, but it also bears other, different meanings depending on the context. In trinitology, the substance of God is both one and of threesome character.

THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE MERCY OF THE FATHER REALIZED IN THE SON
Summary
The perspective of Trinitarian theology of God's mercy do not allow to limit the Holy Spirit only to continue the work of Jesus in the Church and to forgive sins. It protects indeed the same theology of God's mercy before narrowing and one-sidedness. In the economy of salvation, God's Spirit is shown as cooperating in all the works of God and inseparable from the Father and the Son. This also applies to God's mercy, which, by the revelation of the mystery of the inner life of God, in the Holy Spirit is better understood and accessible. The basis for this is the essence of God defined in the New Testament as Love, which, according to Christian theology, is concretized by the Holy Spirit. Penetrating God and man in Jesus Christ, He is the Gift restoring the original innocence and introducing man into a relationship of love and unity proper to the Father and the Son.

REINTERPRETATION OF THE TRINITARIAN DOGMA IN THE LIGHT OF THE RULES OF CONTEMPORARY LITERARY THEORIES
Summary
The possibility to adapt some theories of literature to the dogmatic theology in the area of trinitology does not mean the application of these strategies to the dogmatic formulas, but to the revealed Reality as such. Thus, it includes a transference of the interpretative mechanisms from the logical fi eld to the ontological one. Such a transference implies a scrupulous analyse tending to prove its legitimacy. On the other hand, this application, justified among others by paradigmatism of ontological rules over logical ones, allows to reinterpret not only the content of dogma in its essence, but also to redefine or precise the trinitarian ontology in the context of the postmodern philosophy.
