The term "view of God" refers to images and conceptions, which occurs in the heart of every believer. This topic is so vital that it is definitely worth theological reflection. For the Christian theology, there is only one criterion of all views of God, which is Revelation of God. Revelation in Christ, called by Tillich the final revelation, is an ultimate key to judge all conceptions about God. According to Tillich, this revelation can also judge and purge all religious experiences. It is true that every human being has his own relationship with God, but it is also true that the only one real view of God is that revealed by God himself in his Son. THEOLOGICAL REFLECTIONS Summary The article presents the subject of celibacy in the context of cultural chaos in sexual life, which we observe in the contemporary world. The sexuality, marked by the original sin, seems to be an ambiguous phenomenon: on the one hand, it is a sphere through which we can express our deep love towards the other person, but on the other hand, it is a sphere when we egoistically abuse the others. Because of this ambiguity, sexuality easily becomes a god for a person, taking real God's place in his heart. The Gospel gives people infinite freedom from everything, which is not God, also from sexual fulfilment. Then, the celibacy becomes the feature of every Christian, as they enjoy spiritual freedom and thus, they are ready to give up their sexual lives. Its sense for understanding faith and Christian life is tremendous, thus it demands deep reflection. Changes that have occurred in culture during the last century have made it essential to consider a parameter of secularization as a part of modern theology. Harvey Cox's view includes both deep reflection upon secularization and post-secularization theology. He analyses the phenomenon of secularization from a theological perspective, placing his theology in a context of secularized world.
